April 30, 2011 Tweet Carl (Captain) Glanville taking a break from having just completed 140 mixes for U2 came down to The Audio Bunker to engineer another Sputnik tune. "It's fun coming down to the Audio Bunker" Carl said, "but I always mistake this place for a Pub."

Alana Stewart in the Studio
March 27, 2011 Tweet Alana Stewart came by the Audio Bunker last night with her other half, Angela, to let me experiment a little with a great song of hers, Ramblin' Man.
So far the track's coming out great. We'll be posting it here when we have a finished copy. In the meantime, check out this video!
Great session with MiWi La Lupa of Red Baraat and Thought!
March 23, 2011 Tweet
James here... I had a great session at the Audio Bunker this past Monday with Mike Williams (aka MiWi La Lupa). Mike normally plays in Bhangra Funk band Red Baraat and Brooklyn rock band Thought, but on this session, we let the relaxing vibe of the Audio Bunker inspire us and ended up writing and recording a great new song entitled Here Kitty Kitty. Armed with a wealth of percussion instruments available at the studio (including a bass tambourine!), we laid down some grooving rhythm tracks. Then we got some bass cooking and then a couple tracks on the Wurli. Finally, we added the singing and a little trombone action on top to pull it all together. Did I mention there is a trombone available at the Audio Bunker? Who else offers a trombone? No one, that's who.
